The Polar Bear is native to the Arctic Ocean, can swim 6 mph, and has been seen nearly 200 miles from land. Polar Bears are very large weighing up to 2,210 lbs and having paws 12” wide. They have hair that is transparent, not white, and is uniquely made to absorb the sun’s ultraviolet light.
